Saco, Montana

Rain turned the back roads to gumbo, so I spent the day in Saco, Montana.

The Tom Steele public library in Saco does not have internet, phone, or bathroom.

Pip’s Diner has everything though.

Heidi and her husband, the music teacher at the school, bought Pip’s two years ago. She said Montana has 40 openings for music teachers. The state is so desperate for teachers, you can start work while finishing your degree.

Delicious!

I stayed all day, ate three meals, and took a salad to go.

Good food, good internet, good conversation.
